Advocacy

Another mission of GeocacheAlaska! is to advocate on behalf of geocachers with various land managers in the state of Alaska.  We have worked with many of the parks departments at local, state, and federal levels to establish relationships for geocaching on these lands.  On this section of the website, you will find information about many areas that allow geocaching and what permits or requirements are needed to search for or hide geocaches in these areas.  If you are planning to hide a geocache in Alaska, you must check this page for information about the area you intend to use.
